Thomas Keller was born in California in 1955. He has no formal education other than working as an apprenticeship. Though an American chef, he specializes in French cooking. He owns several restaurants and he has published several cookbooks. He has received many awards for his culinary excellence through the years. He has appeared in several movies and films working with great actors such as Adam Sandler and on the Pixar movie Ratatouille.
9. Giada De Laurentiis
Giada De Laurentiis was born in Rome, Italy in 1970. Her claim to fame is in her “Everyday Italian” Food Network show and now she hosts “Giada at Home.” She received her education at Le Cordon Blue in Paris and at UCLA. She has worked with chef greats like Wolfgang Puck. She has written several books as well as works on The Food Network on her show and hosting other shows.
8. Rocco DiSpirito
Rocco DiSpirito was born in New York City in 1966. In 1986, he graduated from Hyde Park, New York as the Culinary Institute of America. He started in a reality show in 2003 and 2004 on NBC called The Restaurant. Since then he has made guest appearances on many shows and is currently hosting the “Now Eat This!” his very own show.
